“Here you go Honey.  This is Brian’s baby book.  And Diana, here is Mart’s.”

“Oohh look at all that dark hair and that cute little behind on the bearskin rug.  Brian doesn’t know that you are showing me these,  does he?”

“Oh!  Look at all those blond curls!  Mart looks about 6 months here, yes, the back of the picture says it was taken on December first. “

“Yes. Brian was born with a full head of hair, but he lost it later as he rubbed it off as he laid in his crib.  I was able to keep some and put it in this envelope that was meant for the first haircut.  Mart had some hair when he was born, but not a lot. Let’s see.  According to the baby book, he had his first haircut when he was 15 months old.  Old enough to sit up by himself, but still squirmy.  He had to sit in my lap facing me so the beautician could cut his hair.  Trixie and Bobby were both born bald as billiard balls and neither one had their first haircuts until after their 2nd birthday.”

“Oh, oh, oh, Honey!  Look at this picture of the chocolate cookie beard around Marts mouth.”  

“Where are Trixie’s and Bobby’s baby books.?”

“Well,  with a 3 year old, and a 1 year old when Trixie was born, I didn’t have that much time to keep up with her baby book.  Actually, all I have is a legal envelope with her hospital certificate, pediatrician notes, birthday cards and some pictures.  I would like to get it all put together sometime, but Trixie doesn’t even seem interested, so I keep putting it off.  I did more for Bobby, because the other three were more independent by the time he was born.

Ok.  Here is my plan.  I am going to pick up the lovely Diana at her home and I am going to present her with a white rose that has been dyed her signature color of light purple.  I have made reservations at that cute little Bistro in White Plains that Diana likes so much, and we are going to have dinner on their patio under the moonlight.  After the violinist serenades us,  I am going to get down on one knee and ask her to marry me.  Hopefully, she will say yes.

Crime scene report for the Forensics model of the Delancy murder.

Witness 1, Mary Trudeau, age 66, called in to make a report of suspicious activity at the

Delancy house.  When the police unit arrived at the scene, they found that the front door had been forced open.  Further investigation revealed the victim, Charles Delancy lying face down in the master bedroom.  Examination of the body showed three traumas.  The first was a bullet wound to the thorax that apparently passed through the body hitting a decorative mirror.  The second trauma was a knife wound to the sternum above the bullet entrance.  The last trauma was a blow to the head that resulted in a cranial depression which was the cause of death.

You gotta be kidding me.  I may be the youngest, but even if I could write, I know better than to put anything down in black and white and give Moms evidence of what I do each day. 

'Sides, she can usually figure it out from the dirt on my clothes.
